A Pennsylvania man accused of raping four children over a span of decades \u201cwill be behind bars for the rest of his life,\u201d the state\u2019s attorney general announced.<\/p>\n
Andrew Allamon, of Perry County, was found guilty in October of multiple counts of rape, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault, indecent assault of a child, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.<\/p>\n
Allamon\u2019s conviction stemmed from years of him using his \u201crelationships with the victims to carry out evil, disgusting acts<\/a>,\u201d Attorney General Dave Sunday previously said in a news release issued on October 31, 2025.<\/p>\n According to prosecutors, Allamon sexually abused victims while armed with a pocket knife.<\/p>\n He allegedly used the knife \u201cduring sex acts and in other apparent acts of cruelty,\u201d against the minor victims, the state attorney general\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n If the children \u201cdid not comply\u201d with the abuse, Allamon allegedly beat them and forced punishments, including by locking victims inside dog kennels and making them \u201ceat out of dog bowls,\u201d according to prosecutors.<\/p>\n Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Child for Years Gets Decades-Long Prison Sentence in Texas<\/a><\/p>\n On Tuesday, March 10, a Perry County judge handed Allamon a sentence of 65.5 years to 131 years in prison<\/a> in connection with four victims, the attorney general\u2019s office said in a news release issued that same day.<\/p>\n \u201cThis defendant no longer presents a threat to anyone in our communities,\u201d Sunday said in a statement.<\/p>\n \u201cWe hope the survivors who bravely testified at trial can take solace from this outcome and continue moving on with their lives,\u201d Sunday added.<\/p>\n In an emailed statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 11, Allamon\u2019s defense attorney Shawn M. Stottlemyer said that \u201cMr. Allamon’s sentence, although not unexpected given the outcome of the trial, is very lengthy.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMr. Allamon maintained his innocence throughout the Sentencing Hearing and looks forward to exercising his post-sentence and appellate rights,\u201d Stottlemyer added.<\/p>\n After an investigation was launched by Pennsylvania State Police, criminal charges were filed<\/a> against Allamon in September 2023 in connection with alleged sexual abuse beginning in 1990, according to police, the Daily Voice reported.<\/p>\n Allamon is accused of raping children as young as 5 and 9, investigators said, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n
