{"id":13907,"date":"2025-10-24T17:34:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T17:34:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/13907\/"},"modified":"2025-10-24T17:34:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-24T17:34:10","slug":"pa-hs-to-build-football-stadium-on-top-of-a-parking-garage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/13907\/","title":{"rendered":"PA HS to Build Football Stadium On Top Of A&#8230;Parking Garage?!?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Using space effectively has driven entities to some pretty out of the box ideas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0 PA HS to build a field on top of a new parking garage.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources with the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.footballscoop.com\/2025\/10\/23\/pennsylvania-high-school-football-stadium-set-to-be-built-on-top-of-parking-garage-unique-high-school-football-setting\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Executive Education Academy Charter School<\/a> district, their new stadium will be construction on top of a parking garage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/512.jpg\" alt=\"870 AM KFLD logo\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The school needs a new field and they share an easement with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.footballscoop.com\/2025\/10\/23\/pennsylvania-high-school-football-stadium-set-to-be-built-on-top-of-parking-garage-unique-high-school-football-setting\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Allentown, PA<\/a> Lehigh Iron Pigs minor league baseball team, and share a parking lot with them as well.\u00a0 After working out some logistics, a new 300 vehicle one-story garage will be constructed, then a 4,000-square-foot stadium on top of that.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, according to reports, the baseball team was initially not thrilled about giving up space for the stadium, leading to the revolutionary idea.\u00a0 The stadium will seat 4,000 people and will be connected to their high school via a walkway.
