New details have been released about the construction of the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Erie County Stadium Corporation met Monday morning. Officials on that board confirm that work is nearly 90% complete.<\/p>\n
Right now, the substantial completion date is still set for July 1. At that point, the state will accept ownership of the property via a land transfer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“The county, the Bills and the state are all working together on what the role out will be for a ribbon cutting and getting folks in there,” said Steven Ranalli, president of the Erie County Stadium Corporation. “They have pre-season games and a red and blue game \u2014 all of those events are expected to happen in the stadium. We’re working on it; we will get back to you shortly.”<\/p>\n
