Developer J.G. Petrucci Company<\/a> said it\u00a0is\u00a0nearing completion\u00a0on\u00a0two multifamily apartment\u00a0communities,\u00a0including one in Bethlehem.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The Gatehouse<\/a> is a five-story, 44-unit apartment building with\u00a05,600 square feet\u00a0of street-level retail space on Polk Street<\/a> in Southside Bethlehem<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Construction is currently taking place on what Petrucci described as a tight infill site directly\u00a0adjacent to\u00a0the Polk Street Parking Garage.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n The\u00a0project\u00a0is being done in\u00a0partnership with Peron\u00a0Development and\u00a0is part of a\u00a0broader effort to invest in the rapidly growing Third Street corridor<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cBuilding on a tight infill site like this one has its challenges, but the end result will definitely be worth it,\u201d said Peter Polt,\u00a0executive\u00a0vice\u00a0president at Petrucci. \u201cThe Gatehouse puts new homes and retail right in the center of the action in Southside Bethlehem.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The second project is the Station at Hatboro<\/a>, a three-story, 102-unit community with\u00a04,732 square feet\u00a0of ground-floor retail space,\u00a0located\u00a0on North York Road<\/a> in Hatboro.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Petrucci described that project as a redevelopment of a run-down mixed-use site that\u00a0housed\u00a0a mix of small commercial buildings.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Features will include studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment units, a fitness center, and resident lounge.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Both projects\u00a0involved\u00a0the redevelopment of obsolete properties and are strategically\u00a0located\u00a0to offer easy access to transportation and amenities. Petrucci\u2019s in-house construction firm Iron Hill Construction Management is managing both projects.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The Gatehouse and the Station at Hatboro\u00a0are\u00a0both\u00a0expected to be completed this spring.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Listen to this article Developer J.G.
