<\/a><\/p>\nSeconds later, the minivan leaves, leaving the motorcycle driver and passenger in the middle of Marshall Road in Upper Darby.<\/p>\n
“Why you would not stop, I do not know,” said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt.<\/p>\n
Officers were at the scene in seconds. The motorcycle riders, who police say were two adult men, were taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
Now, investigators want to talk to the man who they say was driving the minivan.<\/p>\n
“He is not at fault for the accident. What he is responsible for is to stay on scene, provide his information, and render any aid, which he did not do,” said Bernhardt.<\/p>\n
Police say the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead Wednesday morning. The passenger is expected to be OK.<\/p>\n
The minivan driver is still nowhere to be found. Police say he could be facing charges for leaving the scene of an accident.<\/p>\n
“He dumps the minivan, walks back up on foot and is there on foot watching the entire investigation of the accident take place,” said Bernhardt.<\/p>\n
That’s how police say they got photos of the driver; he came back to the scene after the accident and still did not identify himself to police.<\/p>\n
“It’s odd to say the least,” said Bernhardt.<\/p>\n
Police have not released the name of the driver who died. They’re still notifying family.<\/p>\n
