READING, Pa. – CEO Tom Sturgis of Tom Sturgis Pretzels died last week, according to a Facebook post from the company.<\/p>\n

Sturgis was 92, and was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.<\/p>\n

The store says he proudly carried his family’s legacy forward for decades in the pretzel industry.<\/p>\n

The post online says he was at the bakery every day, checking on the pretzels, making repairs, or even tending to flowers outside.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the years, he not only witnessed the world change\u2014he helped shape it, leaving a lasting mark on the pretzel industry and on the countless people whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed,\u201d the post reads.<\/p>\n
