An investigation has begin into, what officials called, a “suspicious death,” after, they told NBC10 a body was found in a car parked in West Philadelphia’s Cobbs Creek community overnight.<\/p>\n
According to police, officers responded to the area around the intersection of Alter and 58th streets in Cobbs Creek at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday after a body was discovered inside a car parked at that location.<\/p>\n
However, officials did not immediately provide further identifying details on the individual involved in this incident, nor did they provide any specifics on the individual’s cause and manner of death. <\/p>\n
Officials also did not immediately announce an arrest or say if anyone could be charged in this incident. <\/p>\n
But, officials said an investigation is underway. <\/p>\n
