Rather than browsing booths in a convention hall, attendees will experience first-hand a variety of d\u00e9cor, florals, cuisine, cocktails, music, and interactive details from participating venues\u2014which include the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Fitler Club, Philadelphia Distilling, W Philadelphia and more.<\/p>\n Together, these distinctive spaces will offer curated vendor showcases, giveaways, and other matrimonial surprises. That includes chef-driven bites, curated cocktails by Bluecoat Gin, bridalwear activations by Anthropologie Weddings, live entertainment, plus a styled ceremony, cocktail hour and reception vignettes. Holi<\/a> from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. As release notes, Holi is a Hindu tradition observed in India, Nepal, and in many communities around the world. It usually spans two days in March, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and the end of winter. Highlighting renewal, rebirth, love, and unity, the celebration represents a time to embrace the positive and release negative energy. It also honors the divine love of the Hindu god Krishna and his devotee, Radha.<\/p>\n The key activity of the experience comes from one of Holi\u2019s most popular traditions. With it, participants will throw brightly colored powders outside (in Penn\u2019s Harrison Garden) to immerse themselves fully in the holiday. The family-friendly occasion will also feature interactive activities, \u00a0art-making, live music, dance performances, and a marketplace throughout the day. All CultureFest! The program will be performed twice\u2014at 5:30 p.m. and 7:21 p.m., at sunset\u2014in the museum\u2019s main gallery. Seating will be specially arranged to create an immersive sound environment, with musicians positioned throughout the space in dialogue with Calder\u2019s works.<\/p>\n The performance, dubbed \u2018Cave Rainbow in Negative Color,\u2019 will feature solo and trio works performed with musicians Julia Den Boer and Odetta Hartman. As a release notes, the concert reflects on how time is sensed, remembered, and distorted, seeking to expand and renew our lived, tactile experience of its passage. The first half presents a heterogeneous, shifting composition, while the second unfolds as a slower, more meditative work.
