Lower Saucon Township Police are asking for the public\u2019s help identifying a man who they say fled a traffic stop Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

According to a post published on the department\u2019s Crimewatch site<\/a>, the man was stopped at around 7:38 a.m. at Old Philadelphia Pike and Rt. 378.<\/p>\n

Police said he then \u201cquickly exited the vehicle and began questioning the officer prior to being approached.\u201d<\/p>\n

After getting back into the car he was driving, police said the unidentified man put it in reverse and fled south on Old Philadelphia \u201cat a high rate of speed,\u201d before turning onto Seidersville Road in the direction of Salisbury Township.<\/p>\n

Police said a license plate visible in a dashcam image they shared \u201cdoes not belong on the vehicle\u201d the man was driving.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information about the man is being asked to submit a tip via Crimewatch or to contact Ofc. Pritchard at 610-317-6110 or zpritchard@lowersaucontownship.org.<\/p>\n
