CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) \u2014 A fallen Pennsylvania trooper will always be near his daughter.<\/p>\n

Cpl. Timothy O\u2019Connor Jr. was killed during a traffic stop<\/a> on Sunday, March 8, in Chester County, just a few miles from the Lancaster County line. His family laid him to rest<\/a> Wednesday during a private funeral.<\/p>\n

As memorials pour in, a beary special one will keep his memory alive. The Parkesburg Borough Police Department said Heather Smith, the wife of one of its captains, stitched together \u201cTimmy-Bear\u201d from O\u2019Connor\u2019s old uniform and gifted it to his daughter.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Connor, 40, was the 105th member of the Pennsylvania State Police to die in the line of duty. He also leaves behind a wife.<\/p>\n

He enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in September 2010 as a member of the 131st cadet class. O\u2019Connor was promoted to corporal in July 2022 at the Embreeville Station, where he was a member of the patrol unit.<\/p>\n
