The students shared colorful picture books to help the elementary students learn more about the traditions celebrated during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of reflection and worship for Muslims around the world and in the BC community. This year, Eid al-Fitr begins at sunset tonight, Thursday, Mar. 19, and continues through Friday, Mar. 20.

The Muslim Student Association is in its fourth year and is open to all students at the high school.

This year, association members also hosted a special teacher appreciation dinner to thank BCHS faculty and staff for their support. The students and their families served the teachers a delicious iftar meal. Iftar marks the moment at sunset when the daily fast during Ramadan ends. It is traditionally a time for reflection, gratitude, and community.

The Muslim Student Association meets every other week.
