Their verdict could determine whether an Allentown man spends the rest of his life in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Gabriel Cartagena\u00a0is accused of knocking on a family&#8217;s door and gunning down grandmother\u00a0Ada Ortiz and her 13-month-old grandson, just more than two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution and defense presented closing arguments Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Ada&#8217;s husband, Leandro Ortiz, was also shot, but survived.<\/p>\n<p>Surveillance footage from the time of the attack was shown in court Thursday.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tnt-inline-link\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"tncms-inline-link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfmz.com\/tncms\/asset\/editorial\/ad68a38a-a6fd-4540-a219-30ea89af46d1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prosecution rests in trial of man accused of killing Allentown grandmother, 13-month-old<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The prosecution showed clearer pictures of the surrounding streets before and after the shooting and say it was Cartagena in the video.<\/p>\n<p>The defense argues they cannot say the person in each video is the same person.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ALLENTOWN, Pa. &#8211; A jury is deliberating Friday.
