{"id":144514,"date":"2026-03-21T08:04:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-21T08:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/144514\/"},"modified":"2026-03-21T08:04:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-21T08:04:13","slug":"atlanta-falcons-acquire-london-ont-born-safety-sydney-brown-from-philadelphia-eagles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/144514\/","title":{"rendered":"Atlanta Falcons acquire London, Ont.-born safety Sydney Brown from Philadelphia Eagles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/sydney-brown\/985720\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/sydney-brown\/985720\" target=\"_blank\">Sydney Brown<\/a> is on the move.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The London, Ont.-born safety has been acquired by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/atlanta-falcons\/309\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/atlanta-falcons\/309\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Falcons<\/a> in a deal with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/philadelphia-eagles\/293\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/philadelphia-eagles\/293\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The deal also includes a swap of draft picks with picks No. 122 and No. 215 going with Brown to the Falcons with No. 114 and No. 197 headed to the Eagles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">All four picks are in next month\u2019s 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Brown, 25, appeared in all 17 games for the Eagles in 2025. He recorded 34 tackles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Originally taken with the 66th overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Illinois, Brown has 86 tackles, two forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions, including a 99-yard pick-six, in 42 career games over three seasons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Brown was a member of the Eagles team that won Super Bowl LIX last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Brown\u2019s twin brother, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/chase-brown-985818\/985818\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/chase-brown-985818\/985818\" target=\"_blank\">Chase Brown<\/a>, is a running back with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/cincinnati-bengals\/322\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/team-page\/cincinnati-bengals\/322\" target=\"_blank\">Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Sydney Brown is on the move.
