A Philadelphia man has been charged in connection with an October shooting. <\/p>\n

Talgat Turgunbekov, 19, of Philadelphia, was charged with Aggravated Assault, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person, stemming from an incident where he allegedly fired shots at a group of juveniles in a Bensalem Township parking lot.<\/p>\n

Bensalem Township police responded to the parking lot at 3800 Horizon Boulevard on Saturday, Oct. 11, around 7:10 p.m. <\/p>\n

Officers found two spent 9mm shell casings in the area. police said. <\/p>\n

No injuries were reported<\/p>\n

The juveniles at the scene told officers an man, who was later identified as Turgunbekov, had fired two shots toward their group from inside a blue Toyota before driving away. The teens stated they recognized the man and claimed he had chased them and fired shots on previous, unreported occasions, according to police. <\/p>\n

Detectives also learned of another similar unreported incident on Sept. 10 at the same parking garage. <\/p>\n

Witnesses at that time reported hearing multiple gunshots after seeing a similar blue sedan, police said. <\/p>\n

Police began undercover surveillance of the area. <\/p>\n

On Oct. 22, officers spotted a blue sedan matching the description of the suspect, police said. <\/p>\n

When police attempted to approach, the driver accelerated toward an officer\u2019s car before fleeing, law enforcement said. <\/p>\n

Police obtained the vehicle\u2019s registration before the driver jumped a curb and sped across a grassy area.<\/p>\n

Investigators identified the vehicle\u2019s owner, whose son, Turgunbekov, matched the description of the shooter. <\/p>\n

The juveniles from the Oct. 11 shooting positively identified Turgunbekov as the suspect, police said. <\/p>\n

Detectives uncovered information regarding a separate 2024 road rage incident involving Turgunbekov, where he allegedly brandished a BB rifle and threw a tire iron through another vehicle\u2019s rear window, police said. <\/p>\n

Turgunbekov turned himself in to police on Friday.<\/p>\n

Turgunbekov was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge Daniel Baranoski and is being held on 10 percent of $250,000 bail. <\/p>\n
