ALLENTOWN, Pa. & JACKSON, N.J. \u2014 Dorney Park\u2019s Lazy River and Wave Pool, as well as a famous wooden roller coaster at Six Flags, are in the running in a USA Today contest.<\/p>\n
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom<\/a> and Six Flags Great Adventure<\/a> have multiple nominations in the USA Today 10Best Readers\u2019 Choice Awards, according to a news release from Six Flags.<\/p>\n The USA Today 10Best Readers\u2019 Choice Awards highlight top attractions and businesses across the country, with winners determined by public vote, Six Flags says.<\/p>\n Two Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom attractions made the list:<\/p>\n Six Flags Great Adventure\u2019s famous wooden roller coaster also earned a nomination<\/p>\n Voting is officially open starting Monday.<\/p>\n Voting is open now through Monday, April 20 at 11:59 a.m. EDT, and fans can vote once per day in each category, Six Flags said in its news release.<\/p>\n Winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 29 at 12:00 p.m. EDT.<\/p>\n A panel of USA Today editors and industry experts select the nominations.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re incredibly proud to see both of our parks recognized on a national stage,\u201d said Ryan Eldredge, Public Relations Manager \u2013 East Region.<\/p>\n \u201cThese nominations reflect the passion of our teams and the experiences our guests continue to come back for year after year.
