Camden Apothecary is teaming up with a South Jersey-based firm to offer cannabis education<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n As part of the newly launched partnership,<\/a> the Camden-headquartered dispensary will work with Elucidation Strategies\u2019 Green Shoulder guidance service. The partners will present a series of free public events designed to provide accurate and relevant information about cannabis and wellbeing.\n<\/p>\n Tailored to the \u201ccannacurious and cannaconfused individuals,\u201d sessions will cover cannabinoid fundamentals, such as plant and consumption basics, the partners said.<\/p>\n The \u201cCannabis Questions? Just Ask\u201d events will also feature insight about the contemporary role of cannabis as it intersects with health and wellness, the statewide marketplace and pop culture. They will feature interactive Q&As, too, the partners said.\n<\/p>\n According to Camden Apothecary and Elucidation Strategies, events will take place throughout the region this year. Organizations interested in hosting the program can contact Camden Apothecary<\/a> for more details.\n<\/p>\n Bringing cannabis into the medical mainstream<\/p>\n Launched in November 2023 by Anthony Minniti, Camden Apothecary is a dispensary that serves both recreational customers and medical patients.<\/a><\/p>\n In addition to owning Camden Apothecary, Minniti is a third-generation pharmacist whose family took over the historic Bell Pharmacy in 1997. When it originally opened as Bell Drug Co., the pharmacy offered cannabis to those who needed it for medical purposes. It stopped in 29137 when the federal government started prohibiting use of the plant.\n<\/p>\n Now, with cannabis once again legal to buy in New Jersey, Minniti believes the pharmacy is the perfect place to help bring marijuana into the medical mainstream. Moving forward, Camden Apothecary plans to continue making an impact in the region. That includes through additional hospitality partnerships, lifestyle-focused initiatives and innovative medical cannabis programs designed to replace addictive, dangerous prescription medications.\n<\/p>\n One of its biggest partnerships so far is signing on as the official cannabis partner for Xfinity Live!<\/a> The dining, entertainment and retail venue sits at the center of Philadelphia\u2019s major league sports venues. The deal marked one of the first times that a recreational cannabis<\/a> shop successfully scored a partnership with a major American corporation.\n<\/p>\n Smoke show<\/p>\n Minniti feels Camden Apothecary\u2019s first-of-its-kind program with Elucidation Strategies can serve as a model for similar partnerships throughout New Jersey.\n<\/p>\n Founded in 2022, Elucidation Strategies is an educational and consulting agency<\/a> that strives to help the public make informed decisions when it comes to cannabis. The firm\u2019s signature education program, Green Shoulder,<\/a> serves adults age 21 and up who want to learn about consumption in a one-on-one, demonstrative setting.\n<\/p>\n Minniti said, \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to partner with the Green Shoulder program in helping consumers overcome the psychological barriers borne from decades of the wrongheaded \u2018war\u2019 on cannabis.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cCountless individuals can benefit from using cannabis as a safe, natural alternative to pharmaceuticals, but need reassurance as they take that first step,\u201d he said. \u201cOur partnership brings together degreed health care professionals, experienced cannabis consumers, and highly educated cannabis counselors to serve as a \u2018guide\u2019 for our guests\u2019 first steps on their cannabis journey.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Countless individuals can benefit from using cannabis as a safe, natural alternative to pharmaceuticals, but need reassurance as they take that first step.
