PITTSBURGH, PA \u2014 The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of Da Village Social Club\/ Missionz Hookah Lounge, on Greenway Drive in the city’s West End, for numerous health code violations.<\/p>\n
A recent inspection found evidence of vomit and fecal matter present in the men’s restroom, including in the commode and both handwashing sinks.<\/p>\n
The women’s restroom found to be backed up.<\/p>\n
A mattress and a bed frame were found in the kitchen area. Evidence of smoking was found there as well.<\/p>\n
The lounge also was found to be operating without a valid health permit. <\/p>\n
A “closed” placard is posted at an establishment when an imminent health hazard is identified at a restaurant or kitchen or if it has been operating without proper permits.<\/p>\n
