Palmer chocolate factory that killed seven people and injured 10 others.<\/p>\n<p>On March 24, 2023, an explosion leveled building number 2 at R.M. Palmer&#8217;s West Reading facility.<\/p>\n<p>35 minutes before the explosion, Palmer employees reported smelling gas to their supervisors.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfmz.com\/news\/area\/berks\/reading-area\/complaint-filed-against-ugi-over-deadly-chocolate-factory-explosion-in-berks-puc-seeks-more-than\/article_e0454212-3fa3-4d20-8e39-5b29faa92ad4.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission filed a complaint<\/a> against UGI for $2.5 million over the explosion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"WEST READING, Pa. &#8211; Tuesday marks the three-year anniversary of the deadly explosion at the R.M.
