Last week, the Penguins cruised past the Avalanche 7-2 at Ball Arena, handing the Avs their worst loss at home all season. Colorado has a chance at revenge and could serve payback while remaining perfect during its road trip with a far healthier lineup than the one that lost that game. <\/p>\n
The Avs got Gabe Landeskog back in the lineup on Sunday, and he scored a crucial goal in the third period. Against the Penguins, Colorado welcomes Ross Colton and Logan O\u2019Connor back into the lineup, which means Artturi Lehkonen is the last remaining injury on the roster. <\/p>\n
O\u2019Connor had missed the entire season to date, and Colton was out for two weeks. Inserting them into the lineup means Nazem Kadri will slot in at 3C for the first time since the Avalanche acquired him on March 6. Colton will likely slot in on the second line, while O\u2019Connor will play in the bottom six, although it\u2019s unclear whether he\u2019ll be on the third or fourth line. <\/p>\n
When the Penguins were in Denver, Sidney Crosby still had not returned. He\u2019ll be in the lineup and will go up against close friend Nathan MacKinnon.
