{"id":14811,"date":"2025-10-25T15:34:07","date_gmt":"2025-10-25T15:34:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/14811\/"},"modified":"2025-10-25T15:34:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T15:34:07","slug":"erie-county-health-department-receives-grant-for-health-center-in-margaretta-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/14811\/","title":{"rendered":"Erie County Health Department receives grant for health center in Margaretta Schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/eriecohealthohio.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Erie County Health Department<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/eriecohealthohio.com\/health-center\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Erie County Community Health Center<\/a> recently announced they received a grant from the Ohio Department of Health to establish a new school-based health center in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.margaretta.k12.oh.us\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Margaretta School District<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This funding marks a major step forward in expanding accessible health care for students and families, according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility in Margaretta will be the fourth school-based health center operated by Erie County health and community centers, adding to their<br \/>existing centers at Vermilion High School, EHOVE Career Center and Sandusky Career Center, the release said.<\/p>\n<p>The Margaretta school-based health center will provide essential primary and mental health services as well as pharmacy services through Erie County.<\/p>\n<p>The center will open with limited hours before the upcoming holiday season.
