The world\u2019s largest cigar store will soon be coming to\u00a0the Lehigh\u00a0Valley.\u00a0A\u00a0groundbreaking\u00a0was held\u00a0in Bethlehem\u00a0recently for the headquarters of discount retailer, Cigar Page.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
J.G. Petrucci Company Inc. broke ground on a 58,545-square-foot facility\u00a0which will serve as a\u00a0retail\/bar\/lounge experience.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
Construction\u00a0by Petrucci\u2019s in-house construction management firm, Iron Hill Construction began in early February.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The new facility will be\u00a0located\u00a0at 1010 Harvard Avenue in Bethlehem.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
The company\u00a0is\u00a0currently headquartered in\u00a0Bath, but\u00a0reached out to Petrucci when it\u00a0wanted to\u00a0expand.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
Founded in 2015,\u00a0Cigar Page is the second largest e-commerce cigar retailer in the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This will be their first physical retail location.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\u00a0The project consists of warehouse, office, and retail\/lounge\u00a0space,\u00a0and is\u00a0expected to open in early 2027.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
Once open, it will\u00a0contain\u00a0the world\u2019s largest cigar store, with about half of the space will be used for retail operations, featuring an outdoor patio, a keg\/cooler room, a 26\u2019 stone fireplace, a full-service bar, over 200 seats in the cigar lounge, and a 4,400-square-foot humidor room featuring a wide selection of handmade cigars.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
An\u00a0additional\u00a014,750-square-foot second-story mezzanine\u00a0located\u00a0above the retail space will serve as the\u00a0main office\u00a0headquarters for\u00a0Brandshopper\u00a0LLC, the\u00a0parent\u00a0company of Cigar Page, and will have\u00a0over 100 employees.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
Cigar Page\u00a0said in a release that it\u00a0aims to make the\u00a0space the \u201cultimate destination for cigar lovers.\u201d\u00a0As the fastest-growing cigar retailer of the past decade, the new headquarters and retail space\u00a0will further spur the company\u2019s expansion.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
The humidor will be the\u00a0centerpiece of the project,\u00a0with the ability to house\u00a0more than 750,000 cigars.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
The indoor bar will have 42 beers on tap, as well as seating for over 200 patrons.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
