ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Police have charged two men after they say shots were fired in Allentown Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Members of the Allentown Police Department responded to the 300 Block of North Church Street for a report of shots being fired in the area around 7:30 p.m., according to a news release from city police.<\/p>\n
Officers found evidence of shots being fired in the area, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers made contact with the victims, who provided descriptions of the suspects. Police quickly located the suspects a short time later, taking them into custody without incident. A loaded firearm was recovered during the course of the investigation, according to the release.<\/p>\n
Authorities say no injuries were reported by anyone involved.<\/p>\n
Following the response and subsequent investigation, Hector Martinez, 34, of Emmaus, has been charged with Persons Not to Possess Firearms, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, Aggravated Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.<\/p>\n
Joshua Martinez, 29, also of Emmaus, has been charged with Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault.<\/p>\n
