From vintage jewelry and toys to size-inclusive retro dresses, connoisseurs will be able to find it all for sale at the Senator John Heinz History Center in April.<\/p>\n

In partnership with The Neighborhood Flea, the museum will host its 12th annual Vintage Pittsburgh retro fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. The event will feature more than 50 makers and vendors, selling vintage clothing, accessories, home decor and vinyl records.<\/p>\n

Among this year\u2019s participants are Archaic Allegheny<\/a>, which sells vintage goods and clothing from the 1940s through the 1980s, as well as vintage Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania items; Toysburgh<\/a>, a vintage toy seller and collector; and The Brooch Bro<\/a>, a curator of vintage and antique brooches.<\/p>\n

PGH Crepes and Main Squeeze food trucks will be parked in front of the museum, and Nedal Gyro and Piebird will be located on the third floor.<\/p>\n

The Neighborhood Flea was established in July 2014 and brings a curated selection of Pittsburgh\u2019s hidden treasures to collectors and aficionados across the city. It is organized by the team behind I Made It! Market, Pittsburgh\u2019s nomadic artist market.<\/p>\n

\u201cVintage Pittsburgh brings together some of the region\u2019s premier vintage sellers, complementing the History Center\u2019s exhibits and showcasing the best of Pittsburgh\u2019s past,\u201d says Carrie Nardini, founder of The Neighborhood Flea. \u201cShoppers can explore more than 50 Neighborhood Flea vendors across five floors of the museum, so guests can come for the shopping and stay for the full experience. It\u2019s a chance to share memories with the friends you\u2019re shopping with and connect with sellers whose curated goods spark joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh\u2019s Hidden History<\/a> is on exhibit, featuring rare and never-before-seen objects from the museum\u2019s archives. Ahead of the country\u2019s 250th birthday, a contemporary art installation called My America: An Illustrated Experience<\/a> is on display, too, featuring 63 original works by 35 illustrators that reflect on the ideals associated with the American Revolution.<\/p>\n

Access to Vintage Pittsburgh is included with regular admission: $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens, $11 for students with valid ID and free for History Center members. Admission is also free for kids aged 17 and under, supported by the Kamin \u201cFree for Kids\u201d Initiative.<\/p>\n
