LOWER NAZARETH TWP., Pa. – A longtime snack company that makes party mix and other favorites in Northampton County has a new owner.<\/p>\n
Keystone Food Products, Inc. is being acquired by CK Snacks of\u00a0Grand Rapids, Michigan.<\/p>\n
Keystone was founded in 1946 by William Corriere. It has a factory and offices on Hecktown Road in Lower Nazareth Township.<\/p>\n
The company’s first product was pork rinds, made in the Corriere family barn.<\/p>\n
According to Keystone’s website, William Corriere\u00a0received equipment from an employer who was going bankrupt to start up the company that then flourished.<\/p>\n
Keystone makes a variety of tortilla chips, corn chips, cheese curls and other snacks, including its original Keystone Party Mix blend.<\/p>\n
Keystone will continue operations at its current facility, CK Snacks said.<\/p>\n
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

CK Snacks was founded in 1964. It makes a variety of private label extruded, fried and baked snack foods.
