\t\t\t\tLeague City will consider adopting its new budget and tax rate at its Sept. 9 meeting<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The details<\/p>\n

The tax rate up for vote comes in at $0.36355 per $100 valuation of a home.<\/p>\n

The proposed tax rate of $0.36355 per $100 is also the no-new-revenue rate, according to city documents.<\/p>\n

City Council will also have its second and potentially final vote on its budget, which was approved in a 7-1 vote on the first reading at its Aug. 26 meeting.<\/p>\n

The no-new-revenue tax rate is the tax rate for the 2025 tax year that will raise the same amount of property tax revenue for the city from the same properties in both the 2024 tax year and the 2025 tax year.<\/p>\n

If approved, this will be the 11th consecutive year that the city\u2019s property tax rate has decreased, according to a Sept. 5 news flash<\/a> from the city.<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s total budget for fiscal year 2025-26 will be $524.1 million, according to city documents.<\/p>\n

What else?<\/p>\n

City Council will also consider approving<\/a> a work order to buy more concrete for Phase 2 of the reconstruction of Turner Street and Butler Road, which is expected to be completed by April 2026, according to the city\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
