The dry weather will let our waters recede before more rain next week.River FloodingAn Areal Flood Warning is in place for Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Fayette, Indiana, Washington, and Westmoreland County continues until 4:30pm.  Any high water along stream and creeks will recede this afternoon.A Flood Advisory for the Ohio River at Pittsburgh is in effect until Saturday afternoon.  The river is expected to crest at 19 feet early Saturday and recede back below 18 feet by late in the day.  The Mon Wharf floods at 18 feet and the North Shore Riverwalk floods at 19 feet. Both will be underwater for parts of Saturday.More Rain Returns Next weekCool temperatures to start the final weekend of March. We will only reach the middle 40s Saturday despite mostly sunny skies.  Sunday will also be dry with a mix of clouds and sun and highs returning to 60. The warmest day of the week is Tuesday with highs in the middle 70s. Rain chances return as soon as Monday with a few isolated showers possible. The shower chance continues on Tuesday with our best chance at rain likely on Wednesday as a cold front passes. We may have to watch for a few storms as the front moves through Western PA.Another system arrives late Thursday into Friday to bring rain again. Showers may be ending right as we get to first pitch of the Pirates home opener Friday afternoon. We should dry out as we head into Easter Weekend.TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold.
