BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2013 A popular destination for fresh food, flavorful drinks and family-friendly fun is leveling up with a 12,000-square-foot addition set to open soon in Northampton County.<\/p>\n
Twisted Tees, a sports bar and entertainment destination featuring multi-sport simulators, pool tables, yard games, elevated pub fare, a full bar and more, will more than double in size when a new addition opens later this spring on the lower level of The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem, co-owner Kyle Randell told 69 News.<\/p>\n

Randell and his partner, AJ Mitchell, opened Twisted Tees two years ago in a renovated, nearly 10,000-square-foot space that previously housed a location of women\u2019s fashion retailer Charming Charlie.<\/p>\n
Twisted Tees\u2019 expansion will occupy a newly formed space \u2013 totaling around 12,000 square feet \u2013 that previously housed three smaller retail units.<\/p>\n
It will bring more ways to play, relax and have fun with a realistic, 18-hole miniature golf course; larger and more private simulator spaces; a second bar and dining area; and a larger stage to continue hosting live entertainment.<\/p>\n
A new digital jukebox also will be available to play music.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re super excited to be growing,\u201d Randell said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur original space will retain that fun, clubhouse feel, and it will feature an interior connection to our new space, which will have a really cool, outdoorsy feel with natural-looking greens throughout.\u201d<\/p>\n
Randell and Mitchell are no strangers to the local business scene.<\/p>\n
The pair also operates two other businesses on The Outlets\u2019 lower level: Angry Jack\u2019s Axe Throwing Club, offering guided axe throwing sessions for individuals of all skill levels, and Sweet Revenge<\/a>, a shop offering coffee, baked goods, ice cream and other treats.<\/p>\n Twisted Tees’ opened over two years ago in its original space on The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem’s lower level.<\/p>\n Twisted Tees<\/p>\n Additionally, the duo also owns and operates Ranch City Brewing<\/a>, an eight-month-old craft brewery offering a wide array of hand-crafted beer and food, at the Simon Silk Mill in Easton.<\/p>\n \u201cWith this expansion, we\u2019re looking to make Twisted Tees even more of a family-friendly destination for great fun, food and drinks,\u201d Randell said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s our goal to offer great fun, food and drinks, and mini golf especially is just a super fun activity for the whole family. Parents could bring their kids here to let loose year-round, including in the winter when there\u2019s not much to do and in the summer on a rainy day.\u201d<\/p>\n The mini-golf course will feature putting greens, faux sand traps, raised greens resembling rolling hills and various colors of turf made to look like a real golf course, Randell said.<\/p>\n A few select obstacles will create additional challenges.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re designing more of a natural kind of course, but since we\u2019re partnering with Ranch City Brewing, some of the features will be slightly ranch-themed,\u201d Randell said.<\/p>\n \u201cFor example, we\u2019ll have a rustic, steel wind mill, and there also will be a chicken coop to collect balls.\u201d<\/p>\n The expansion will feature an interior connection to Twisted Tees\u2019 original space, making for one, large cohesive space.<\/p>\n The simulator bays \u2013 currently situated alongside a wall that will be opened to the addition \u2013 will be repositioned in the new space, Randell said.<\/p>\n Twisted Tees, a sports bar and entertainment destination featuring golf simulators, yard games, elevated pub fare and a full bar, operates at The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem.<\/p>\n Ryan Kneller<\/p>\n The TruGolf simulators feature cutting-edge, immersive technology, allowing guests to tee-off from a large library of the world\u2019s best golf courses and receive meaningful feedback on every shot.<\/p>\n Individuals also can choose to play other popular sports such as baseball, hockey, soccer and dodgeball.<\/p>\n The Twisted Tees expansion also will feature a second bar, with seating for around 12 guests, along with additional dining tables for around 30 guests, Randell said.<\/p>\n Twisted Tees offers Ranch City beers along with craft cocktails, wines and pub fare.<\/p>\n Twisted Tees, a sports bar and entertainment destination featuring golf simulators, yard games, elevated pub fare and a full bar, operates at The Outlets at Wind Creek Bethlehem.<\/p>\n Food menu highlights include starters and sides such as baked wings, \u201cTwisted Nachos,\u201d fried mozzarella and loaded potato scoops; flatbreads such as Buffalo chicken, meat lovers and \u201cHoney Blue Blue\u201d (arugula, blueberry, feta, ricotta, honey and caramelized onion); and \u201cDirty Dogs\u201d and sandwiches such as a \u201cChip Shot Cheesesteak,\u201d \u201cPar-fect Burger\u201d and \u201cMac Caddy\u201d dog (topped with beer mac and cheese).<\/p>\n People could also walk around with drinks and food while playing, Randell said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re also thinking of having someone with a cart going around offering drinks and food like hot dogs to players, at least on busy nights,\u201d Randell said. \u201cThere will be barrels situated throughout the space so you\u2019d have places to set down your drinks and food.\u201d<\/p>\n Mitchell and Randell were originally hoping to debut Twisted Tees\u2019 expansion by the end of 2025, but delays related to the city\u2019s permitting process repeatedly pushed back target opening dates, Randell said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re now aiming for late spring, end of June at the latest,” Randell added.\u00a0<\/p>\n For the latest Twisted Tees updates, including an official opening announcement for the expansion, follow the business\u2019 pages on Facebook<\/a> and Instagram<\/a>.
