\nThey keep the line moving in the middleweight division, as Fremd
\n(11-6, 0-0 PFL) toes the line against Al-Silawi (21-7, 4-4 PFL) at
\n185 pounds. Nick Berens administers the law and order. No glove
\ntouch between the two participants. Fremd greets his counterpart
\nwith a jab, low kick and lead left hook. Al-Silawi circles and gets
\noff a one-two. Fremd controls the center, then eats an overhand
\nright. Fremd answers with one of his own and charges forward with
\nAl-Silawi off-balance. Strong leg kick from Fremd, who jabs at the
\nbody and then goes to the head. Al-Silawi dives on a single-leg,
\nonly to run right into a front choke. Nevertheless, he completes
\nthe takedown and settles in half guard as Fremd clings to his neck.
\nAl-Silawi moves behind the American and loses position in his haste
\nto take the back. Al-Silawi trips him with an attempted heel hook
\nand again works to the back, with Fremd on his knees. Punches and
\nhammerfists from the Jordanian. Fremd stands, only to be taken down
\nagain. More ground-and-pound from Al-Silawi with a minute left in
\nthe round. Fremd reverses into top position. Al-Silawi closes his
\nguard in an attempt to minimize damage. He rolls for an armbar. No
\nluck. They stand in the closing seconds before Fremd scores with a
\nlate takedown.<\/p>\n

\nand completes a takedown. Fremd stands. Al-Silawi dives back into
\nthe clinch. They break apart. Al-Silawi lands a right uppercut.
\nFremd looks tired all of a sudden. Even so, he presses forward.
\nAl-Silawi lands a body kick. Fremd answers with a jab. Strong
\nmulti-punch volley from the American followed by a clinch knee.
\nFremd pins him to the fence, unleashes his hands and scores with a
\ntakedown. Ground-and-pound ensues, who may have salted away another

\nAl-Silawi may be faced with an uphill climb here. They touch gloves
\nin a show of respect. Fremd jabs to the head, then feints to the
\nbody before landing a leg kick and a short left hook. Al-Silawi
\nlands a left hook. Fremd cuts him off with a quick barrage and a
\nknee behind it. He steps into an overhand right. Al-Silawi jumps to
\na guillotine with Fremd still standing. Big slam from Fremd, who
\ndodges an armbar and plows into full guard with three minutes to
\ngo. Al-Silawi rolls for another armbar and eats a right hand to the
\nface for his troubles. Fremd moves to half guard. Body-head punches
\nfrom the American, with a few elbows mixed in. Al-Silawi hunts a
\nleg lock. Fremd counters with powerful punches. Al-Silawi\u2019s leg
\ngets entangled in his opponent\u2019s shorts. Wardrobe malfunction. They
\nrestart after the ref separates them. Fremd sends a knee crashing
\ninto the Jordanian\u2019s body.
\nFremd connects with a picture-perfect counter left hook that
\nfaceplants his opponent in the center of the cage. Fremd lands one
\nfinal shot before Berens can intervene<\/a>. Chants of

\nWomen\u2019s flyweights are next to the stage in the Steel City, where
\nthe unbeaten Postarnakova (4-0, 0-0 PFL) takes on Dana (8-1, 1-1
\nPFL) at 125 pounds. Jason Herzog draws the officiating assignment.
\nAway they go. They exchange low kicks and punches. Dana plows
\nforward and eats a jab. The Brazilian flurries and knocks the
\noff-balance Postarnakova to the mat. She dives at the legs but runs
\ninto a front headlock from Dana. Action stalls. Dana sprawls to
\nclose off a potential takedown. Postarnakova sticks with it and
\npowers into top position. She attacks the body with punches, then
\ngoes to the head in full guard. Midway through the round. More
\npunches from the Russian, who has effectively neutralized Dana.
\nPostarnakova slips through an omoplata attempts and continues to
\nland punches from inside full guard. She postures to increase her
\nleverage and lands two left hands. Ninety seconds to go. Dana rolls
\nfor an armbar, only to be cut off. Postarnakova stays busy with
\npunches, even as her opponent answers from the bottom. Time winding
\ndown. Postarnakova stands, kicks the legs and drives home right

\nActivity from Dana has dropped off noticeably, as she seems
\nresigned to her fate here. Strong left hand for Postarnakova. Dana
\nkicks her away and stands. Spinning back kick to the body from
\nPostarnakova. Dana cuts off a single-leg and bullies her way into
\nhalf guard, with the Russian seated at the base of the fence. She
