Some residents in the Philadelphia region received an Emergency Alert on their phones that announced a dispersal order for Bridgeport Speedway in Logan Township on Sunday evening. <\/p>\n

According to multiple social media posts<\/a> put out by local police departments, the alert was sent in order to disperse a crowd at am “Import Expo” Car and Music Fest at the South Jersey venue. <\/p>\n

However, what exactly happened has not been announced and remains unclear. <\/p>\n

NBC10 has reached out to police, the organization behind the event and Bridgeport Speedway and are waiting to hear back. <\/p>\n

NBC10 went to the scene at around 7 p.m. to find that there was no longer a crowd present. <\/p>\n

The dispersal order has since been lifted. <\/p>\n
