A ceremony was held to honor hospitalist Hisham Abusamhadana, MD, and orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician Mark Buseck, MD for their exceptional work.<\/p>\n<p>Both honorees from Saint Vincent will receive a gift of $500 to provide to a local charity of their choice. This year the nominees chose to gift their donations to Asbury Woods and Emmaus Ministries Soup Kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>The two physicians honored had been nominated directly by the hospital\u2019s medical staff. The nominees are chosen by the Medical Executive Committee members.<\/p>\n<p>National Doctors\u2019 Day is recognized each year on March 30 as a way to thank physicians for their ongoing dedication and commitment to the healthcare field.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is such a pleasure to honor these two outstanding physicians on Doctors Day 2026,\u201d said Chris Clark, MD, president, AHN Saint Vincent President. \u201cIt not only acknowledges their extraordinary skills, capabilities and contributions to our medical staff, but honors the outstanding patient-centered care they provide on a daily basis.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"AHN Saint Vincent Hospital celebrated March 26 with a special breakfast and luncheon.
