A winning ticket for a draw game from the Pennsylvania Lottery worth $400,000, less withholdings, must be redeemed this week before the piece of paper becomes worthless.<\/p>\n

The Pennsylvania Lottery reports<\/a> that a winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket hit the jackpot during the game\u2019s drawing on April 3, 2025. The winning play was sold at the Super Mini Mart located at 1165 Freedom Rd. in Cranberry Township, Butler County. The Sunoco gas station is roughly 20 miles north of Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

The winning numbers were 3, 10, 12, 30, and 37. The ticket must be claimed with a PA Lottery Area Office by this Friday, April 3.<\/p>\n

Players, check your tickets: a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth $400,000 that was sold for the Thursday, April 3, 2025, drawing will soon expire,\u201d the Pennsylvania Lottery news release advised.<\/p>\n

The odds of winning the Pennsylvania Lottery\u2019s Cash 5 with Quick Cash are one in 962,598. Cash 5 costs $2 to play.<\/p>\n

Unclaimed Lottery Tickets<\/p>\n

Unlike many state lotteries that provide winners with only six months or less to redeem winning tickets, the Pennsylvania Lottery affords winners 365 days from the drawing to come forward. Winning tickets that are not redeemed remain in the state Lottery Fund, where they\u2019re used to support programs benefitting older Pennsylvanians.<\/p>\n

Two major wins went unclaimed in Pennsylvania last year. A $2.5 million Match 6 Lotto ticket, sold at a Weis Markets in Honesdale for the drawing on May 4, 2024, was never redeemed. A more than $2.6 million jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash, sold at a convenience store in Murrysville for the drawing on May 8, 2024, also went unclaimed.<\/p>\n

While draw prizes are redeemable for up to a year, scratch-offs are redeemable for up to one year from the game\u2019s end-sale date. Fast Play prizes expire one year from the ticket purchase.<\/p>\n

South Carolina Win Approaching Expiration<\/p>\n

In South Carolina, lottery officials say they too are seeking an outstanding win.<\/p>\n

A Powerball<\/a> ticket for the game\u2019s Oct. 1, 2025, drawing was purchased through the South Carolina Education Lottery. The ticket won $50,000 after matching four of the white balls and the red Powerball during the $1 add-on Double Play. The winning numbers for the Double Play drawing were 3, 29, 38, 56, 65, and the Powerball was 7.<\/p>\n

The winner, who purchased the Powerball ticket at the Ingles Market in Travelers Rest, had 180 days to come forward. The ticket expires later today at 4 pm. If mailed, the ticket must be postmarked no later than March 30.<\/p>\n
