People are coming together to celebrate a big year for Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n
On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Visit PA, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania\u2019s official tourism office, will host an official statewide 2026 Pep Rally.<\/p>\n
This event comes as the Keystone State is stepping onto the global stage in 2026. Philadelphia is in the middle of it all with World Cup games, MLB All-Star Week, all of the America 250 celebrations and so much more.<\/p>\n
The high-energy celebration will be held at Cherry Street Pier, with organizers of the NFL Draft, PGA Championship, FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia, MLB All-Star Week all under one roof.<\/p>\n
Leading the pep rally will be Visit PA’s new official “hype squad,” and there will be live performances from DJ\u00a0GetUp\u00a0and entertainment with hip hop group Project Positive, double-dutch\u00a0with Philly Girls Jump, and the West Powelton Steppers and Drum Squad. <\/p>\n
People can also indulge in cheesesteaks from Angelo\u2019s Pizzeria and a special ice cream bar with Irv\u2019s Ice Cream; enjoy giveaways, and have fun with some of Pennsylvania\u2019s most beloved mascots, including the Phanatic, Phang, Swoop and Gritty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"People are coming together to celebrate a big year for Pennsylvania.
