ROCHESTER, N.Y. \u2014 The Rochester Red Wings have postponed Tuesday\u2019s game against the Scranton\/ Wilkes-Barre RailRiders due to inclement weather. <\/p>\n
The Red Wings will play their home opener against Scranton Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. <\/p>\n
They will play a doubleheader Friday. The first pitch for game one is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Game two will start about 30 minutes after the end of game one. <\/p>\n
Tickets from Tuesday\u2019s game can be exchanged at the ESL Ballpark Ticket Office for any game for the rest of the 2026 season, the team says. <\/p>\n

News10NBC Sports Reporter Ian Mills spoke with numerous fans, many of them still hoping the team would play.<\/p>\n Live with General Manager Dan Mason Tuesday morning <\/p>\n News10NBC\u2019s Kristi Blake went to ESL Ballpark Tuesday morning to see how the Red Wings franchise geared up for opening day. Mason hoped Tuesday morning the rain would hold off until after the game, but still prepared for the rain. <\/p>\n Mason said the home opener takes months of planning and he\u2019s excited to welcome back fans.<\/p>\n \u201cI still get butterflies every opening day. This is one of the most special and fun games of the year, every year.
