{"id":153734,"date":"2026-03-31T22:54:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T22:54:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/153734\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T22:54:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T22:54:07","slug":"fundraiser-scheduled-next-week-for-family-affected-by-house-fire-berks-regional-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/153734\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundraiser scheduled next week for family affected by house fire | Berks Regional News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HEIDELBERG TWP., Pa. &#8211; A restaurant in western Berks County has cooked up a way to help a family of seven after fire destroyed their home.<\/p>\n<p>The Heidelberg Family Restaurant will hold a fundraiser next Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>50% of the day&#8217;s proceeds will help the family affected by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfmz.com\/news\/area\/berks\/two-alarm-fire-causes-severe-damage-to-wernersville-home\/article_961535cd-3fad-47e9-9bd2-eed238ad6ba1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the fire in the 300 block of Mountain Boulevard<\/a> in Wernersville that broke out Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant&#8217;s owner says he reached out to offer the family a meal but wanted to do more.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel very sad for them because they lost everything.
