HANOVER TWP., Pa.- Apparently the Windy City is a popular destination for Lehigh Valley travelers.<\/p>\n
United Airlines is adding a fourth daily non-stop flight to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) from Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE).<\/p>\n
According to a schedule posted by United, the new flight will take off from ABE around 2:15 p.m., starting April 30.<\/p>\n
United currently has flights from ABE to ORD every day around 6:15 a.m., 10:35 a.m. and 5:40 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The mid-day flight was added to the lineup last August.<\/p>\n
Chicago is United’s only non-stop destination from the Lehigh Valley. It previously operated its\u00a0Landline Bus service from ABE to Newark Liberty International Airport, but that was discontinued last September.<\/p>\n
United is one of four airlines serving ABE; the others are Allegiant, American and Delta.\u00a0<\/p>\n
American Airlines’ nonstop service from Lehigh Valley International to Chicago O\u2019Hare will resume on May 21.<\/p>\n
