The company said the project was previously included in an earlier release on a larger Pennsylvania development and was first announced as a 13.8 MW DC project in Lancaster County before being split into multiple projects. PowerBank added that construction is anticipated to begin after permits, financing, and final approval of House Bill 1842 are secured. The company said the project is intended to operate as a community solar initiative, allowing renters, businesses, and homeowners to subscribe without installing on-site equipment.
