Troy Allen Bates, 35, died March 26, 2026, in his Ruscombmanor Township residence.<\/p>\n
Born May 4, 1990 in Pottsville, he was the son of Marsha Ann (Fritz) Bates, fianc\u00e9 of Jerry L. Spohn of Ruscombmanor Township and the late Allen William Bates.<\/p>\n
A 2008 graduate of Oley Valley High School, he furthered his education at School of Automotive Machinists & Technology, Houston, TX.<\/p>\n
Troy was employed with Art\u2019s Custom Machine Shop as a CNC Programmer for 14 years, and most recently, was employed with Precision Technology, as a machinist and programmer, where he worked for the past nine years.<\/p>\n
Some of Troy\u2019s favorite pastimes were gardening, building computers, and working on cars.\u00a0 He was a member of Alsace Manor Social Quarters and Reading Booster\u2019s Club.<\/p>\n
Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his maternal grandmother, Frances Fritz of New Ringgold; his aunts and uncles: Antonette \u201cToni\u201d Fritz of Mountain Top, Alvin Fritz, Jr. of Anthem, AZ, and Cindy Haring of Bernville.<\/p>\n
Other survivors include his seven cousins: Jenna Kizis, Amanda Hole, Brett Haring, Isaac Fritz, Caleb Fritz, Jennifer Madigan, and Matt Faller.<\/p>\n
Troy also leaves behind his beloved dog, Nikki.<\/p>\n
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.\u00a0<\/p>\n
