CUMRU TWP., Pa. – Authorities have identified the man found dead inside a burning car in a remote area of Cumru Township.<\/p>\n
The body of 44-year-old Elvin Francisco De La Cruz Martinez of Reading was discovered Sunday after firefighters extinguished a car fire on S. 9th Street, near the city line.<\/p>\n
Authorities say an autopsy was performed Tuesday and the victim’s cause and manner of death are pending completion of the investigation.<\/p>\n
There is no word at this time on the circumstances leading up to the discovery of Martinez’s body.<\/p>\n
