{"id":154676,"date":"2026-04-01T20:56:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T20:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/154676\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T20:56:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T20:56:07","slug":"prts-university-line-project-will-close-part-of-uptown-street-for-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/154676\/","title":{"rendered":"PRT\u2019s University Line project will close part of Uptown street for weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Pittsburgh Regional Transit said an Uptown street will be closed for multiple weeks as work on the University Line project continues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Kirkpatrick Street will close between Fifth Avenue and Beelen Street on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PRT expects the road to be closed for about two weeks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Crews will work to realign Kirkpatrick Street with the entrance of the Birmingham Bridge, officials say.
