This week, writer Meg St-Esprit (who serves as Kidsburgh\u2019s events editor) stopped by KDKA-TV\u2019s \u201cTalk Pittsburgh\u201d to talk with co-host Mikey Hood about the wonderful and also challenging experience of being a work-at-home mother. Meg recently wrote an article about this for the website Care.com.<\/p>\n
In the video below, Meg talks about the Flexibility Paradox: There are definitely up-sides to working at home, including things like more time with your kids, less time and money spent commuting, and flexibility when kids are home sick from school.<\/p>\n
But then there is the isolation. \u201cMost days, I\u2019m sitting typing at my dining room table,\u201d Meg said, \u201cand it feels lonely. And that\u2019s not uncommon.\u201d<\/p>\n
