Mykola Prut faces criminal charges after the alleged incident that led to multiple police units responding to Water Street in Ardara. \u201cEvery single person was outside,\u201d said Nisa Defelice, who also lives on Water Street. \u201cEverybody was just asking what was going on. That\u2019s the only thing I can say about this street. It\u2019s very quiet over here.\u201dPolice got a call just before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. \u201cHe already shut the water off,\u201d the voice on the 911 call said. \u201cMale came out, cocked a gun and pointed it at him.\u201dAccording to police, Prut was inside his Water Street home when he saw a man kneeling beside the back of his car with a tool. That\u2019s when Prut came outside. \u201cApparently the water authority was there to shut off some guy\u2019s water,\u201d the 911 call continued. \u201cHe pulled a gun on them, chased them through the woods. The actor believed that the guy was trying to get into his vehicle.\u201d\u201cI\u2019ve never seen that many cops,\u201d Defelice said. \u201cThere were a ton of them screaming, shouting, and yelling.\u201d Prut allegedly threatened to shoot the employee and then chased him down the street. \u201cWe looked out, and there were cops running up and down the streets holding their assault rifles and everything,\u201d Defelice said. \u201cWe saw about seven cop cars parked in the Ardara church parking lot.\u201dPrut allegedly told officers that after the employee ran into the woods and through Brush Creek, he took a tool from the man\u2019s van and the keys. The employee was found by the water authority pinging his phone. He was unharmed.\u201cIt\u2019s actually insane that happened,\u201d Defelice said. \u201cIt\u2019s really not that serious. It could\u2019ve been a conversation.\u201d Neighbors told Pittsburgh\u2019s Action News 4 that he never caused problems in the neighborhood before the alleged chase.
