JERRY, I TALKED TO ORGANIZERS OF THAT WRITE IN CAMPAIGN AND THEY TOLD ME THE CONSERVATIVE STATE SENATOR FROM FRANKLIN COUNTY IS NOT BEHIND THIS CAMPAIGN, THOUGH HE DOES SUPPORT THE MESSAGE BEHIND IT. ORGANIZERS OF THIS CAMPAIGN SAY THEY\u2019RE FRUSTRATED THAT AN EARLY ENDORSEMENT WAS GIVEN TO STATE TREASURER STACY GARRITY. THEY FEEL LIKE VOTERS GOT SHORTCHANGED BECAUSE THE TRADITIONAL PRIMARY SIMPLY WASN\u2019T GOING TO HAPPEN, AND THEY ARE HOPING TO SEND A MESSAGE. IT\u2019S A LIFE CHANGING DECISION. IT\u2019S BEEN A FEW MONTHS SINCE DOUG MASTRIANO SAID HE WOULD NOT SEEK ANOTHER BID FOR GOVERNOR, BUT SOME OF HIS SUPPORTERS ARE MOUNTING A WRITE IN BID FOR THE STATE SENATOR. AN ORGANIZER TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE, WE ARE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT TRYING TO GET ENOUGH VOTES TO GET DOUG MASTRIANO THE PRIMARY VICTORY. HE SAID THE GRASSROOTS EFFORT THAT LANDED MASTRIANO THE GOP NOMINATION IN 2022 IS STILL THERE. IF YOU WANT TO GET ON THE GET ON THE BALLOT, HE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ON THE BALLOT. IF THEY WANT TO DO WRITE IN, LET HIM DO WRITE IN. STATE TREASURER STACY GARRITY TOLD ME SHE\u2019S UNCONCERNED WITH THE WRITE IN CAMPAIGN. AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE WILL UNIFY AND DOUG\u2019S SUPPORTERS ARE VERY PASSIONATE AND I ADMIRE THEM FOR THAT. REACHED OUT TO THE PENNSYLVANIA GOP AND THEIR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TOLD ME IN A STATEMENT THAT STACEY HAS ALREADY GOTTEN THE ENDORSEMENT OF BOTH THE STATE COMMITTEE, BUT ALSO PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP, AS YOU JUST HEARD ABOUT EARLIER. AS A RESULT, PENNSYLVANIA REPUBLICANS WHO SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT, IN THEIR WORDS, SHOULD SUPPORT STACY GARRITY. I SHOULD ALSO REACH OUT.
