Next week, crews will be working to repair potholes on more than 35 highways in the Philadelphia region, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).<\/p>\n
Officials said since Jan. 1, 2026, they have received more than 6,837 concerns from the public regarding potholes. So far, PennDOT has used more than 1,691 of asphalt across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.<\/p>\n
PennDOT said drivers may encounter some daytime lane closures and possible slowdowns next week as crews work on the repairs.<\/p>\n
