(WHTM)\u2013 A Pennsylvania lawmaker is proposing a six-month sales tax holiday on firearms and ammunition.<\/p>\n
The legislation<\/a>, proposed by State Rep. Chad Reichard (R-90), would authorize a six-month sales tax holiday in Pennsylvania on firearms and ammunition from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.<\/p>\n Rep. Reichard argues that the right to bear arms is a fundamental part of U.S. society, and families in rural Pennsylvania use hunting as a means for wildlife management and sustenance. That\u00a0is why\u00a0now is the perfect time to adopt a six month sales tax holiday on all firearms and ammunition, similar to several other states,\u201d Rep.
