PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Tamron Hall was honored in Philadelphia for her contributions to the media.<\/p>\n

The alumna of Temple University received a LEGEND award from WDAS-FM<\/a>, where she interned early in her career.<\/p>\n

“Every time I travel back to Philadelphia, it reinvigorates me… Being honored in this way, amongst other great women…means the world to me,” said Tamron Hall, Host and Executive Producer of the Tamron Hall Show.<\/p>\n

Held at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown<\/a> was the WDAS Women of Excellence Luncheon, which occurred for the 10th Annual Year.<\/p>\n

“This is our opportunity to give back and show that you are seen, you are heard, you are recognized. And we want to make sure that you know that today,” said Derrick Corbett, IHeartMedia Senior Vice President of Programming.<\/p>\n
