From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., children searched for hundreds of colorful eggs hidden throughout animal exhibits and the zoo gardens.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the eggs contained special prizes, adding to the excitement for families. The event was included with regular zoo admission for the day.<\/p>\n<p>Zoo staff say the Easter egg hunt is the perfect kickoff to a busy season of events at the Erie Zoo.
