A 40-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday night near PPL Drive in Palmyra Twp., state police said.<\/p>\n
At about 7:35 p.m., a small truck was attempting a left turn out of a parking lot on the north side of Route 6.<\/p>\n
As the driver entered the roadway, the motorcyclist, traveling west at a high rate of speed, hit the truck, troopers said.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Troopers noted the crash occurred during clear, dry weather, at dusk. They suspect the motorcyclist had been drinking, according to the release.<\/p>\n
