Gas prices continue to climb, and for many families, every dollar matters. That\u2019s forcing some people to rethink their plans this Easter weekend.<\/p>\n
The holiday usually means family gatherings, food, and extra time together. But this year, the drive to get there is coming with a heavier cost, and for people already stretching their budgets, the increase is hitting hard.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen it was $4.19, I said I do not want to stop,\u201d said Lindsey Perry.<\/p>\n
She\u2019s not alone. AAA says more drivers are cutting back on non\u2011essential trips, combining errands, and trying to make every tank of gas last longer.<\/p>\n
AAA says the average price of gas in Pennsylvania now ranges from about $3.89 to over $4.00 a gallon, making many drivers think twice about their budgets. Stephanie Logue reported<\/p>\n
For some, that means picking up extra work or adjusting spending in other ways to keep traditions alive.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou want to provide a good experience,\u201d Perry said.<\/p>\n
With Easter gatherings this weekend, many families are holding on to the traditions they love while navigating the reality of higher costs.<\/p>\n
AAA recommends keeping tires properly inflated and avoiding rapid acceleration.
