We\u2019re back with another fun and easy \u201cLet\u2019s Try\u201d Maker Monday project, courtesy of our friends at the <a href=\"https:\/\/pittsburghkids.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Children\u2019s Museum of Pittsburgh<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Like most Maker Monday projects, this is one that your kids can do with things you may already have around the house.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">This week\u2019s project will encourage your little ones to get super-creative by making collage art from magazine pages, newspapers or even junk mail.\u00a0You\u2019ll find all the details on materials and instructions right here, and you can follow along on the video below to learn each easy step.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">A note to kid\u00a0makers: Please work with a parent or caregiver on every project and always be very careful when using tools of any kind.<\/p>\n<p>Maker Monday materials you\u2019ll need:<\/p>\n<p>scissors<br \/>\nclear tape or a glue stick<br \/>\none sheet of paper (any color)<br \/>\nmarkers and\/or pens<br \/>\nmagazines, newspapers, postcards, paper advertisements or other printed paper<\/p>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<p>Cut out a bunch of pictures and words. You can choose anything you want! You can even cut out more words and pictures than you\u2019ll end up using in your final collage, so that you have plenty to choose from in the next step.<br \/>\nArrange your collage pieces on your paper any way that you want. You can experiment with different ways of combining and layering the words and pictures.<br \/>\nAdd some drawings and doodles and words of your own to your collage to really make it your own.<br \/>\nUse tape or glue to attach your collage pieces to the paper.<br \/>\nEnjoy your masterpiece!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Do you have an idea for a Maker Monday craft project?
