Allegheny County dispatchers told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that crews were called to the 1100 block of Center Street following reports of a house fire. Officials were called to the scene just before 6:30 a.m. Our photojournalist captured officials on the scene after the fire was contained. It appeared that most of the damage occurred on the top floor of the home. We’re told one person was taken to the hospital from the scene. The extent of their injuries was not immediately made clear.
